We will have more of the same weather for the next few days as high pressure off the East Coast slowly builds SW toward Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. This means it will be mostly cloudy, mild and humid today with a slight chance for a shower. Highs will be in the mid 70s.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a better chance for some dense fog - especially over areas of water. It will likely develop late this evening around 10 PM and get thicker overnight with visibilities less than 1/4 by daybreak Expect some restrictions on the Causeway Friday Morning. Lows will be in the lower 60s.

Friday will start out with some dense fog all across SE Louisiana. Some of the fog will linger through the morning and into the afternoon. Then we will see more easterly winds vs southeast, and this will allow for some slightly drier air to move over us. It will be partly cloudy and mild with only a slight chance for a shower after the fog dissipates. Highs will be in the mid 70s. Friday Night will be foggy with lows in the mid to upper 50s.

The weekend is looking pretty good, but we will have to deal with morning fog each day. Then expect a mix of sun and clouds with a slight chance for a shower during the day. Highs will stay in the mid 70s. Lows will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

More active weather is forecast for next week ahead of a cold front. Monday and Tuesday will have spotty showers with highs in the 70s. The cold front is forecast to move through Wednesday to Thursday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. This front will not have any cold air behind it, so we will stay mild on Friday with sunshine.
