I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with my parents and two sisters. I've lived in South Louisiana for the last 13 years, so I have found a new home. I love living in this part of the country and you can't go wrong with all of the fantastic people and food!

I am a meteorologist and interest in meteorology sparked at an early age. I wanted a career in broadcast meteorology since the fourth grade. I went from being very afraid of storms to chasing them! I was motivated with a deep passion for weather that started when my Mom took me to the library as a child to learn about weather in hopes that I would overcome my fear of thunderstorms. Well...it worked!

I took advantage of my first on-camera experience through a position as my high school's first weatherman. My interest in weather didn't stop in my high school newsroom. I earned a Bachelors of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania in Operational Meteorology. Then I went on to Mississippi State University where I earned a Masters degree in Broadcast Meteorology.

I joined the WWL-TV Pinpoint Weather Team in January of 2014. Currently, I serve as the Morning and Noon meteorologist for WWL-TV Eyewitness News. As a WWL-TV meteorologist, I informs the public of severe and tropical weather activity, and visits our local schools to educate the students about Louisiana Weather.

En route to WWL, I interned at WPXI-TV in my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was not long after that I became the morning meteorologist at WSEE-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania. Then I made the transition to South Louisiana and was the morning and noon meteorologist at WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge for 10 years where he won Best Weathercast by the Louisiana Associated Press in 2008.

I have weathered some of South Louisiana's worst weather over the last 13 years from hurricanes from Katrina, Rita, Gustav and Isaac to the record tornado outbreaks in 2016 and 2017, and lastly the record flooding in March and August of 2016.

I earned the prestigious "Seal of Approval" from the American Meteorological Society, I'm a member of the National Weather Association, and I'm early the rand of Eagle Scout.

I'm very active on Social Media. Be sure to follow me on Facebook and Twitter for all of your New Orleans area weather needs.
